“A brief note to convey our thanks for the opportunity of staying at Villa Puri Indah. I couldn’t have asked for more perfect surroundings to celebrate my 60th with my family.
As for the villa family, I knew from the moment Suwito picked us up from the airport at the inconvenient hour of 11pm, that I had chosen well. Every morning we would start the day with our morning chats and laughs with him and go over what our plans would be for the day. None of our requests were ever a problem, from “supplies” for the fridge (bintang and cocktail ingredients), to driving us to and from the many excursions we undertook.
Bun and Illoh were “gems”. You were right in describing their “free smiles”, which were always evident, whilst they prepared our deliciious breakfasts. Their omelette and pancakes were a huge hit with us all, and the night of my birthday will always be remembered for the amazing seafood banquet they prepared which saw us feasting on a WHOLE lobster each as well as prawn, squid and vegetable dishes prepared the “Javanese” way. I was very touched when they presented me with a “javanese” birthday cake which they said was from the staff, and hope my tears were understood to be very happy and grateful ones for giving me such a touching surprise. Speaking of tears, well they certainly flowed when darling Angelina came out to the table and presented me with a delicate little ring and brooch. I was so humbled to think that Bun would spend her hard earnt rupiahs on such a beautiful thought from Angelina.
We very much enjoyed lazing around the pool area be it swimming in the pool or basking in the sun. The pool was always sparkling and the gardens so beautifully maintained by Sudah.
Patrick, although we personally thanked each and every one of the “villa family” when we left, please pass onto Suwito just how much we appreciated their efforts in giving us such an amazing relaxed time at the villa. “

“Just a short note to let you know that we have arrived safely back in Australia. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality shown to us by your amazing staff. Sutwito was always so happy and willing to assist in any way possible to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We had several meals at the villa this time and experienced the wonderful cooking of Bon and Eluh. They even let us watch them prepare some of the food and gave us tips on how to cook the traditional Indonesian way. The house was always kept immaculate with the gardens being a tropical oasis due to the loving care of the staff. It was never a problem for Suwito to take my daughter and I to the gym every morning and pick up fresh bread from the bakery for our breakfast on the way home. The position of the house is so amazing being in the middle of everything, so close to the beach but shut the gates and you are in your own little resort. We only wish that our holiday could be permanent. We are endeavouring to work hard at saving the funds to ensure we can revisit Bali again next year.Thanks again and I am sure we will be in touch soon.

“I was thinking of our wonderful time in Bali and wanted to tell you that our best time was spent at Villa Puri Indah. Maurizio, myself and our grandchildren had the most wonderful time from the moment we arrived there until we sadly left.
Suwito, Iloh, Bon & Sudah all ensured that we were looked after in the most discreet but attentive way. Collectively they are one of Bali`s treasures!
We spent most days in the fantastic pool with Jack (18) giving everyone (including myself) diving lessons. If not swimming, diving or just relaxing we were eating the most delicious food cooked for us by the team.

“The villa was perfect for us. The location was a great combination of access to the local restaurants and shopping while being secluded and private. The layout of the villa worked well with convenient outdoor living downstairs by the pool and spacious bedrooms. The staff were fantastic – nothing was a problem. Suwito got on well with the kids and they really enjoyed the trips to the beach and rides on the scooter. Childcare was not problem which made it so easy for us. One night the staff catered dinner for 14 people and the food was amazing. I thoroughly recommend the Villa Puri Indah.”

Now we are back in Tokyo, missing the house and the staff already…
We have had an excellent vacation in Bali. This week was one of the most refreshing week in many years for us. The website told the true story, the description lived up to its standard in real life. We must say that you have got a really good place in Villa Puri Indah.
Suwito and the staff did an extremely good job serving us at any time and any occasion. They were really good in stepping in and stepping out to leave us alone when needed, e.g. during dinner or when relaxing in the pool area.
Suwito was also great with our boys, he became good friends with them – so fast. He took us to the Bird & Reptile park and the Monkey forest, our boys loved it. He also took us to an art studio so Anna could buy some oil paintings, these paintings will help us to remember the Bali vacation during many years.

Suwito has certainly proved that he is a very good villa manager and Bon really is a GREAT cook. Apart from that she is always smiling, friendly, happy. IIloh, is indeed shy, unobtrusive but always there – a Balinese lady in the middle of a Javanese majority. Sudah is indeed a happy chappie and I wonder what he would be doing if not employed by you?

One simply felt comfortable just being there doing nothing (preferably of course with a glass of wine or beer to hand!). I still cannot believe that I went to Bali and had bacon and egg every day for breakfast. Why can’t we get bacon like that in England? I have to mention the thoroughly excellent Suwito, Bon, Iloh and Sudah who were such an important part of the holiday. For Suwito nothing was too much trouble and I can’t praise him enough. Tell him that I very much admired his “Balinese Style” driving (his phrase, not mine) which he employed when the occasion demanded it. We do not know when we will be next in Bali but I hope it is not too far away.”

“What a great time we had at Puri Indah! We have been home a month now and are all still feeling the benefits of our stay at the Villa. It truly is an oasis of peace and tranquility.
And Patrick, the Villa lived up to all your comments. The night we arrived our son Louis thought we were entering a hotel and was amazed to find all that space was ours alone. The villa has a gracious atmosphere and we felt quite at home there.It has been immaculately maintained and is fully equiped with all one needs.
We are all missing the fabulous food Bon and Iluh prepared for us. Our daughter Grace, a vegetarian, especially enjoyed the simple, yet exotic dishes they made her while the rest of savoured delicious satays and curries.
Suwito does a wonderful job, always with a smile,and nothing too much trouble. In a foreign speaking country it is great to have someone to liase for you and even better when you feel they are totally trustworthy.
